I am currently a student at the University of Maryland studying Human-Computer Interaction and user-centered design, and minoring in Art History. I'm interested in rendering experiences using interaction design skills on immersive media platforms (AR/VR) and building empathetic interfaces to foster connections.

I grew up in Silicon Valley, so I was exposed to programming languages before I fully learned to read and write. However, I have been a fine artist since even before that. I not only wanted to integrate these two aspects of my life, but also the different ways of thinking that they enable, and I found the perfect intersection through the XR industry.

I really enjoy finding solutions to everyday problems, which is why design thinking has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career. As I have taken more design thinking courses as well as entrepreneurship courses, I have gotten increasingly interested in social entrepreneurship specifically and finding ways to alleviate the hardships that many face every day, especially in health.

My experience working for exclusively early-stage startups has been extremely important in realizing how I view myself as an entrepreneur. My experience working in augmented reality has been integral to seeing myself as an artist and a healthcare innovator. I love the world of immersive media solutions, and most importantly, I love designing for other human beings.
