User Interface (UI) technology research examines the interactions between a user and the technology, such as how they input, utilize and understand the data and communications through the technology. In this presentation, we will review the current challenges encountered by first responders, specifically, firefighters, and explain the User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) design choices for an effective Heads-up-Display (HUD) Navigation system.
